TATTLETECH PROJECT

The TattleTech project was my first individual project. I designed a "half-year challenge" to reduce workplace gossip among employees in small businesses with self-managing teams. A reflection and feedback platform embodied by a friendly-looking robot was part of the challenge design. Participants would submit verbal input to the robot, which would then produce a visual representation of the overall sentiment toward the challenge. The major goal was to reduce the incidence of gossip, and therefore improve the employees' relationships, trust, and productivity.

REFLECTION

During this project, I learned that the social interactions you gain out of a team project are crucial for the amount of joy I get out of a project.

I also learned when I find service blueprints, personas and value propositions the most valuable to use. I also learned the importance of evaluating your projects with the right participants.

I also used Procreate for the first time, and based on the benefits of this program I switched from paper to Procreate as sketching method.

Lastly, I improved my Arduino skills by programming complex electronics like a voice recognition module.
