Trustworthy Furniture
Project 1
ACTIVITIES
This project  focuses  on regaining trust in interacting with soft public sitting furniture in a post-COVID-19 society.  Since sitting furniture in public spaces often serve as a place to rest or wait, it is important that people feel comfortable and safe sitting in these objects and interacting with them. The goal of the project is thus to design an application of soft public sitting furniture that regains confidence in interacting with the furniture of the user. This furniture is made of antimicrobial fabrics, which makes sure viruses and bacteria won’t live on the furniture.

REFLECTION
Over the course of six months, I embarked on my first project, which proved to be a transformative experience. I delved into the realm of material-based ideation, expanding my creative horizons. Applying my knowledge from the User-centred design course, I took charge of conducting user tests and honed my skills in survey creation and data analysis. Furthermore, I acquired proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, while still seeking to improve my abilities in InDesign through practical application.
